Memorial Day Parade
The Hall County Republican Party will have an entry in the 2013 Memorial Day Parade on Green Street in Gainesville on May 27th. All members who would like to walk with us are invited to meet us in the lower Civic Center parking lot (area P6) by 9am on Memorial Day. The parade will begin at 10am and should be complete by 11am. Bring a smile!

Those who join us on the parade route are asked to wear patriotic clothing, and military veterans, including those currently serving, are invited to wear uniforms, insignias, or other items representing their service.

Please remember the meaning of Memorial Day. This is the day that we honor those who gave their lives in the service of our great Nation. "All gave some. Some gave all."

Conservative Forum
The Conservative Forum series will continue in the month of June, now that this year's convention cycle is complete. Please join us on Saturday, the 8th, at 10:30am at the Northeast GA History Center. Stay tuned for more details. More info at left.

Georgia GOP State Convention
The Hall County Republican Party was well represented on May 17-18 at the State Republican Convention. We were allotted 48 total delegate spots. 35 elected delegates attended, and 8 alternates in attendace were elevated for a total voting strength of 43. We sincerely appreciate all who came and represented Hall County Republicans. Our goal is to have a full delegation present at the 2015 convention.

We congratulate the new chairman of the Georgia Republican Party, John Padgett, as well as all others elected to the executive committee. We look forward to working together with them to win elections, to promote Republican principles, and to continually improve our party over the next two years.

The picture above is of representatives of the Hall County Republican Party delivering 1800 copies of the US Constitution to Kevin Bales (Middle grades school improvement specialist)  for Hall County Schools. These Constitutions will be handed out to students in conjunction with an observance of Constitution Day. We believe this will be a great help to start to improve students understanding of our nations founding. An understanding that will hopefully drive them to be more informed of our belief in Freedom, limited Government, and a Representative Republic.

Check out the following links for yourself, This one is about the first public appearance of the 5th page of our American Constitution revealed just before Constitution Day September 17th

And for fun take this pop quiz on the Constitution itself, only 10 questions.
